If steering wheel turns but no action at the back you best tear down the cylinder and see piston isn't loose or damaged seals. If wheel locks you may want to get it all lubed up like previous post talks about ect. Check to see tie rods are screwed onto cylinder the right distance by jacking up at rear frame and then cranking wheel completely one way then the other. Do some measureing when bottomed the one way then the other to see it is turning equally both ways. That would be a good time to grease until it splurges top and bottom. Good luck.
