N6 should be 84 or newer, you might be better with a n7 as it had a cummins motor. The engine on the 84's lasted longer but I don't believe they were a strong motor to begin with. I have an 84, it has been a good combine though some issues. If you look under the mods section of the website - it can use all of them. Be sure to check back axle for cracks - do be sure to know the engine history, look for mods, feeder house wear, and air conditioning. They are cheap to purchase but cost just about as much as anything to fix. They can run with the best when set up right.
