We have put a couple hydralic dual spreader kits on the older machines and a few farmers have put on their own. As I remember they went on fairly easy but will take 20 plus hours as I remember. If you were thinking of getting a dual spreader off of a recked 60 or 70 I think you could run into lots of snags. look at I believe a '85 or newer machine to look at the rear feed inspection door. You will find that the newer system is much tighter and should prevent any grain loss. You can maybe figure a way to duplicate the newer system or replace the floors with the new style. Also I believe it was about '85 when they latched the trap door to a stationary crossmember instead of latching to front of concave. The newer system is much tighter and is available in a kit which includes new concave. I'm thinking your air system is fine for you can run mass quantity of air if your accelerator rolls are good.
