With alot of headaches, YES, but not advisible. The N has an offset throat and throat width and attachings have some major modification. Top and bottom latches are different too.
It is possible to do it I know a couple of people who have buit adaptors for that reason but I dont know if and commerically manufactured adaptors are made. Question why would you want to put a 30 foot header on an l3 we had an l3 and a 24' head was too big for the combines capicity if you want to run a larger head I would recomend getting a different combine.
I got a 24' header on it. I installed the St Johns cylinder and capacity went way up. Made some other mods also. I am confident that I can run 4+ mph in 55+bu wheat with a 30' header. I need to run 5+ mph with the 24' header to load the machine with this cylinder. The cutter will only handle a max of 5 mph. I know if I speed the cutter up it will just fail.
Thanks for the info. I kinda figured that. I will just purchase a JD header and use the bush adaptor. lot easier to find a JD header in my area anyway. Gleaner machines are all but gone from my area. No support.
