Bloody good idea! looked at it ourselves on the odd occasion. They are presently converting old model cotton harvesters to S.P. boom sprayers here down under. Was done with a brand new J.D combine by one of our "wanna-be big in corporate farming" outfits [ Dalgetys ] in the 1970's. They effectively went broke! Cheers.

The spacers were accompanied with axel extentions or long couplers. These were avaiable in the 70's and exist even on current models. Don't think this is viable option as last time I checked it was over two bills. thats m bills. Might find one salvage.
