Don't know why they say Bosch pump would be better as long as Roosa-Master is OK and timed right. Sounds to me things are OK until radiator starts to plug. look all around between radiator and rotary screen. Foam or silicon any holes where chaff can get in. Move rotary screen as close as possible to side to prevent straw from getting by the saw tooth blades. Any trouble keeping water in it when it isn't over heating (head gasket maybe). Good luck

Something you might check!!! We had a 4w220 that had the fuel turned up when we bought it, loved the tractor but it kept getting hot so we pulled the engine and put a cummins in it. A local farmer bought the engine and put it in another tractor, turned the fuel down and it never got hot or blew water. Increased power on the dyno also. Just something to think about, if the previous post has been checked out. We had a couple N-6's and they never had a heating problem as long as you blew the radiator out before harvest. Make sure the air filter is clean and fuel filter is changed also.

You might also check the fan and water pump pulleys if the belt sits down deep the pulleys are pretty worn. This would make the fan turn fractionally slower, just an idea.
