Everyone I know has removed the cage sweep and I havent heard of anyone having trouble like you are having. Mine bridged in back which I solved by making and installing a sheet metal divider over the center brace at the rear of the cage. Do you have anything else added or removed in front of the cageIJ

I think it is just the fact that the wheat was so short and brittle (5-15 bushel_acre) and that is why this N6 would do that. Everything is in place except for the cage sweep.

are your helicals double stackedIJ all forward barsIJ 4 discharge paddlesIJ

As far as I know everything other than the cage sweep missing is OEM. But I will have to double check.

if the helicals are not double stacked then you would definitely have straw problems they should look like there are one stacked directly on top of each other. if this is not the case it should be the first mod to tackle there is also a green stem kit that adds extra helicals close to the concave to help the straw start moving easier these should be doubled up also august wieser rosholt, sd
