Combines N6 ROTORS

farmboy, Factory clearance from cylinder bar to helical bar is 3_4".I assume you are trying to thresh wheatIJHelical bars have nothing to do with threshing, they are for conveying material to discharge. If you are having a threshing problem this could be from several areas.Worn concave, worn cylinder bars, concave not level, cylinder speed not fast enough, concave clearance too wide,or may need to add filler bars in hard to thresh conditions. You need to achieve 100% threshing at the concave and at least 60% plus seperation there also.Give us a little more info on what your harvesting and maybe we can add more suggestions. Some varieties have a softer cob than others such as white cob varieties which make it harder to keep the cob together in the machine but the biggest culprit is those darn reverse bars. Click on tips, then Gleaner upgrades and then P1 processor information to learn how to transform your cob grinding, rotor spitting N6 into a machine that spits out whole to half cob, reduced rotor loss and a very clean sample in the bin. I did everything except the separator grate (ran out of time) to my 81 N6 three years ago and I can not believe the difference in capacity and grain sample. I combine both corn and beans.
