A few years ago, ex cotton picker chassis were the rage down here in Oz for conversion to self propelled sprayers. JD chassis seem to be the choice although Case are also used with a change in the transmission gear ratios. These two makes are by far the most common here in OZ. They are a lot easier to convert than a combine chassis. Cheers.

I like dreaming because dreaming is free. I would reverse the machine so it has front steering with the motor up front and down low. The frame of the new machine would have a tilting hoist so the sprayer tank and boom could be unpined and sat on the ground. Now your new creation can be backed under a grain cart tank so you can unload on the go. The cab would be on a sissor lift so it could raise and lower. This will let you see into the truck boxes better.
