Combines N7 Chaffer sieve cloggingIJ

Marshall, Make sure the lower fan door is sealed and shut firmly. Also check any other areas around combine frame where fan is getting air to prevent leaves from entering shoe thru air plum. What do you have the sieves set on.(Milo 5_8 upper,5_16 lower,Fan choke 5-7). The lower sieve setting if too low, or too high, inadequate air blast may not be sufficient to blow out chaff. One other suggestion would be to pull first three to four rows from front of top sieve in order for leaves to blow out. I know they recommended this for the early R75,65's because of lower leaf screen being removed therefore causing corn leaves to clog sieves. Is your machine hyperizedIJ Maybe a set of NDDans sweeps would help material flow thru cage better. I assume the milo leaves are still greenIJ What is the milo yieldingIJ

It is hyperized. Milo is making 6000lbs_acre. Upper set at 11_16 lower 3_8 air at 6. I have move these settings all around. If I set air at 7 it blows milo out the back.

check the plate just under the stone door , which is the front of the distribution auger under the threshing grate. We have seen them bend and thus blow out trash which enters the fan and thus is forced under the sieve. Problably sucking up debrie from the ground or floating around and being sucked into fan.

I will check that. I did find the fan access door under the machne slightly open. It is being pushed open by the very tall milo stalks. They are 4-1_2' tall after they are cut. I wired it down tight on the front end and this helped. I will close it up better in the morning. I don't have much time to work on anything with the hurricane expected to cause problems by tomorrow even in my area. Thanks for the help.
