Combines N7 Mobility problems

Sounds like the pump belt to me. Either that or your main engine belt. I went over every possibility on my M2 before I found out the fork in the servo was in the wrong spot. Keep us updated on what you find and I'll see if I can help. Curt

I agree. It sounds like the pump belt. When you raise and lower the reel, does it move up and down really slow. This is usually the first sign of a loose pump belt. I believe that I would change that hydro filter. They tell me that the filter is definitely the life of the hydrostat. Another thing, if it is your pump belt, it usually doesn't cause problems until the system gets up to normal operating temp.

Have had the same problem with an N-7 and I think your problem is a valve that screws into the side of the valve stack called the replenishing valve either a bad seat or a piece of dirt. you need guages to check it out right. An N-7 doesnt have a hyd. pump belt it drives direct off the engine drive pulley. hope this might help.

Good luck changing that hydraulic pump belt on that there N-7.........lOl. It could be a couple of things related to the hydro but you need to start with the hydro-charge valve on the valve stack. correctly adjusting this is critical. also the standby pressure at main pump should be checked. there are several other pressures that should be checked but your mechanic should know about those.the hydro uses this pressure for control pressure so if it is ouit of adjustment it will not work right.........good luck vstk
