Had a C62 in canola here in North Dakota, same as MF 8680, and it did a fabulous job. Here's what we did: Removed every other wire from front concave to achieve 2" wire spacing. This also really increased performance_reduced walker losses in other crops Installed the taller walker risers that are now available through your dealer as I understand. We did install the small seeds kit and used it and almost no shoe loss. Doing the above eliminated any walker loss too. loss at the pick-up header was more than what machine had, traveling at around 6.5 - 7 mph. Very impressive. Set cylinder speed at 750 with concave open to 12. In good swaths, may have to drop front of concave down. May also want to run feed drum up in corn position for good swaths and in fast speed range on right-hand drive. Adjust air but we ran at between 4 and 5. Enjoy!

We have light seeds kit that has 2 lever 1 to cut air to the shoe and one for the accelerator did you use both or only 1 which one. you say had a c62 what you running now.

Was a friend's combine; I run rotaries myself; he still has it and loves it. We completely closed the damper for the upper air duct and left the bottom one alone. Then just reduced air from the cab with the control cable and it worked great in 30 bushel canola.
