Yep, COl, I'm the one, ie, the same Alan VanNahmen that worked for JD Harvester Works in US, Canada, France, China through 1980s, but didn't really want to spend the rest of our life in Wisconsin working on lawn and Garden products. That was interesting for a couple of years, but it is much more rewarding and exciting working with farmers and combines and harvesting challenges.

You don't need to tell me about Claas combines we have run 114CS, 108, 208 and 460 we are waiting for a 460E on tracks to arrive soon and we will need the tracks due to all the rain we have had (Scotland UK). We have a 480 on loan from Claas at the moment and it is a good machine but struggles in wet strawed barley to remove grains stuck in the straw(any tips). that is why we prefer walkers in our damper conditions. What is still to come on the bi-rotor the full length tracks looked like a good idea, are JD going to use the ideasIJIJ We occasionally have a JD test team in and the CTS with Hillmaster is a great machine, Claas need to use a proper hillside combine because the 3d is their achilles heel.
