Combines Need advice with my new TR 97

I thought others would have better advice to help you. I think you will like your combine. The 20ft head is the minimun size I would reccommend for a 97. I quess I would read the book and understand what a kill stall is. I think a tape came with that machine to help you. If not see if you can get one. You will want to run your rotors faster than you think. Remember they are small diameter and the speed will not hurt grain quality ( the tip speed of the raspbaars aare not any greater than on a larger diameter ). This will 'spin' the grain out.Nothiing special on maintenance, which I can think of. If you have an electonic stone trap, check it often with a wrench, machine off, key on, listen for a click.

in wheat, run the rotors as fast as they will go, and close up your concave. Make sure your concaves and sieves are set up for the right crop. like scooter said, get the video, that will show a lot. You will like your combine
