look harder-maybe find a good 963, or even a good old 863. Way better heads than the Deere's(had them) or Gleaner(worked on them). Just my .02. Chads

Bish at Harv's farm supply, makes them. But my advice is to drive a little farther and find a good 1063 you won't regret it. Good luck! Wolffman

Yep, here we go again, obviously, we'll still be fighting these problems 10 years from now if we don't ask the manufacturers, ASAE and ISO for some standardization like we enjoy on tractor 3Pt, PTO and hydraulic connectors. Brad Bish et al will help you out for now. His phone is 402-849-2674. They are the only company that might loose business due to header attachment standardization but he is already working on the next big thing.

we haven't gotten the combine out since we put it in the shed. When we get the combine out i think we plan on greasin everything before we use it in wheat. I tried to get the auger to take grease one day but it wouldn't take grease. i hope to get it working. The only thing is when u 1st try to swing it out, it will only move about an inch then stop and not move no further and then if u push it out, it will swing the rest of the way out and will also go back in without help. so we hope that the grease will help it out thanks for askin and when we do get it out and find out what is wrong i'll post it on here thanks alot justin

The Unloading auger hydraulic cylinder may have a bad O-ring on the piston inside the cylinder. This would let oil bypass to the other hose, not giving the cylinder full power. To check for this unhook hose that pulls auger back, Turn switch ON to run auger out and if O-ring is bad oil will flow through cylinder and out unhooked hose. Caution: Oil is under HIGH pressure.
