I am not sure on your 2188 but we can transport our TR-98 with outside duals off at 60 mph. We have 18.4-42 tires on it. I do not think yours is that much different size combine than mine.

I have seen harvesters transport them before without the outside dualls, that Donahue trailer I e-mailed you about would be fine I dont see why you couldnt put your machine on the trailer then pull off the outside dualls. The only thing I could see rough about this is your tires would be a ways off the ground and you may have to muscle them around a little on and off wich could cause a bit of inconvenience but I am sure it could be done. If you would like give me a call at (307)850-7271 ask for Shawn I will try to help you in any way possible. I have a friend from Missouri who is giving up the custom cutting business and he has a Jantz trailer he is selling but he wants quite a bit more for it, give me a jingle if I can help any more....

Jake, my Case dealer hauled my 2388 from Pennsylvania to North Carolina last year with the duals removed. They did need an over-width permit, but I don't think it can possibly be wider than a 2388 (or 2188) with wide singles. The only problem I can foresee is that the ladder extension WIll be out too far. My combine only had the standard ladder for transport. I put the extension on here in NC. Hope this helps. let me know if I can be of any assistance. Best regards.

I don't believe you will have a problem transporting with just the indide tires. You may want to inflate them so they won't be as flexible during transport. If you are going very far I think you may want to take them off as you will be 17' in width without any ladder extension. That can be a bit dangerous on bridges and etc.
