O'k I think the lever you are thinking about sets the concave as you turn the handle one way is up the other is down. The hydro lever on 86 and newer has a neutral slot that goes side to side in it, as pull to you and push up for forward and push away and pull back for reverse.

WHat do you mean by neutral SlOTIJ How do you tell if your in that slot and in neutralIJ There are no indicators or stickers. And to move forward, you'd push the hydro lever away from you, rightIJ And reverse is pulling the lever towards you. Just clear this up, please. Also, that lever can't be concave adjust, can itIJ Isn't the lever by the right hand side of the base of the seat for concave adjustIJ Help me to understand. Thanx.

The concave lever was by the seat on TR-70's, but was moved on newer combines. The hydro lever in neutral can't be moved unless you pull towards you and push forward for fowards, but you can not pull towards you and pull back, you have to push away and pull back for reverse. In the middle is the neutral slot and lever will not move.
