Well....not saying this is gospel but works for me......Close the very front seive shut and then put the other settings for fan, cylinder speed, concave clearence and sieve settings like the book tells and start cutting. From there change one thing at a time and make sure you are always keeping the machine full when running the sample. I always make one round in the smaller fields before I change anything and it sure helps with one guy in the cab and one guy on the ground talking back and forth on the two way. If it's chaffy in the tank what's the possibility that the wheat this year is simply not cleaningIJ Our's here in Kansas had alot of white caps and it didn't matter very much what variety and what machine did the harvesting....All the loads looked pretty much the same. Towards the end of harvest it seemed to get a bit better but right at first we all had trouble.
