First if you want to bale the straw put your rotor in low range run it at about 600. Set your concaves at about 5 if you have a chopper drop your concave on the chopper down. If you don't have a chopper you can still drop your plate under your rear beater this will save your straw for your baler. Set your chaffer sieve at 5_8" and set your shoe seive at 3_8" if your oats is going to go better then 70 bushel you might want to open your shoe sieve a bit more. Have your fan speed at about 800. Hope this helps

In addition, if you see a heavy load of straw on your chaffer, you may want to install some blocking strips on your keystock grates so they'll ride out the rotor discharge.
