How fast do you need the head to drop when the DAM is workingIJ It may seem slow when it drops by itself from knee height but when working in the field that may be working just fine for you. That is about how my head drops with a 224 on my 7720. It actually works well to have a drop rate like that when turning - I lift the unit to turn, then give the lever a push when I am coming out of the turn and when the cutter bar is ready to start cutting - it is at the right level. I was also concerned that it was not dropping fast enough but has worked fine for me. Duane
