Combines Need help with sick 9600

SEll IT!!! Get a 9750!!

Deere had a bad bunch of injectors about that time frame. The injectors would bench test fine, but the engine would not run right. When the injectors were changed it ran perfect.

This has probably already been done, but have you checked for any leaks around the air cooler coreIJ Had one crack right down the corner. Was very difficult to see, but sure got rid of the boost air from the turbo. Otherwise, the injectors sound like the next place.

The combine will only smoke black smoke when you first crank it up and throttle up. After that you dont see any smoke at all when throttling up. The combine seems to be sluggish when coming to full throttle. The combine runs well at all rpm ranges.

Could it be that the fuel shut off solenoid is sticking or does not completely openIJ I'm no green paint expert, but it sounds like the fuel supply is restricted. I've had this problem with a B series Cummins. The new solenoid was an easy fix.

a 9510 in are area had the same symptonshuron tractor at exerter ontario put it on a computer thing and found a bad chip in the combine computer changed it combine all better now .we bought the combine 2weeks ago and did about 200 acers of corn with lots of power
