Conditions are determining factors. We have found the 500's AFTER speeding up the auger and the throat chain with sprockets available and after adding the raised feather sheets or "hose kit" feed just about as well as the 800's at a lot less $. If you go to the 800 you will have to add the old header height control system in lieu of the potentiometers for smart trac. The 800 in non tilt configuration will hook up and run otherwise. I am assuming you have the HC or proir lateral tilt and not the 'smartrac'.
