Sure would like to hear more about this and any other differences that you can see between the 2005 and 2006, looking at a new one and am trying to find out a little more about the 2006, hope you could get some pictures too.
off hand without looking at my notes 2006 yield monitor standard, 300hp 24 valve sisu(r-65, not sure about hp one r-75) engine, different brand feed chain, elevators adj. from bottom and top, raised push buttons on eip, the cdf rotor is a must in corn and soybeans (makes it a totally different combine),hump door and 3rd helical a must also. will look up more differences and let you know.
That would really be appreciated to know everything, we are figuring on dealing our 2005 R65 for a 2006, would greatly appreciate all you can tell me, Afco has no literature out to tell us, wish they would get something out so we had a better idea as to the changes, thanks again. By the way if you had any pictures that would be great too.

Was at a combine meeting the other day and they said that the straw spreader was now orbit motor driven with variable speed. No more changing the belt and no more bevel gears. did not look at it they only had a 05 in the shop. They also beefed up the spreader apron with a piece of galvinized sheet metal on the inside right. It sounded like alot of the things that were options are now standard equip. Such as the 14in unload and the fine cut chopper, now standard on corn soybean models. They should have electronic sieve adjustments on the the 07 with a model at the 06 farm progress show. Thats about all i can remember i was more interested in what they had to say about the CDF.
