CORNKING

Congradulations Mr. Mx you will be very happy with the 8010. After demoing the cat and the deere the 8010 is years ahead of them. And I think all the complaining we did with Case last year they did get there act together on this machine. I will keep my 04 and have since traded my 2388s for a 06 8010 it was fun harvesting with machine this year. If we can ever help you out just ask.

It has been interesting to say the least but I beleive they are close to having a truely revolutionary machine. be sure and get round bar concaves for it in corn. Good luck

Glad to hear the positive things this year about the machine, I have asked three years in a row if we could have some time with a demo machine, the dealerships in this area have been more interested in showing it to producers running competitive machines or the big acreage producers 5000 acres plus than the medium sized guys running a couple 88 series machines or at least thats the impression I've had. It's too bad we've had IH machines since grandpa ran 181's but its a real tough thing buying a machine that expensive without having some time with it. I have had an STS here and ran it, as well as having an 04 9760 and 9650 in the family. It was a poor move in my view by the dealership I think it's likely because they aren't real familiar with us we run all green except for the combines and when we buy we buy cash and usually leave them alone afterwards. Besides who would want customers that don't finance, not them apparently.

Is that the machine at Seaforth you bought. It was the only one i know of available in Ontario. If it is I saw it at listowel last spring. It is pretty impresive and it makes the 2388 look small.

why the round bar in corn and not the large wireIJ doesnt the large wire give you a nicer sampleIJ

absolute perfest sample with 2 round bars in trash hairpins in concaves not to bad for me this year but in wetter greener conditions a large wire wants to hair pin trash send the corn through the rotor. if you run round bars once you'll always put them in. but no in soybeans.
