Truck drivers over here (U.K.)are of the opinion that Cat engines are sore on diesel.Most truck makes over here fit their own engines (Man,Daf,Volvo,Scania,Renault,Mercedes,Iveco) Peterbuilt and Kenworth could learn a trick or two here!! Some smaller makes called ERF and FODEN rely on other engine makes to supply them.You are able to spec Foden trucks with either Cat or Cummins and guys who run a fleet with both engines say the Cummins is easier on fuel.Although I have heard that sometimes Cat engines arrive here mistakingly set to run on American diesel and not European diesel!!

yea...you can only work on them with the metric cresent wrenches.....

I usually use a metric hammer. Metric torch would work anywhere except metric diesel.
