landpower (the class machinery importers for Australia and New Zealand) are selling the Mega Dominator 204 and 208's aswell as the Medion 340, 330 and 310 with the Benz OM 906 lA engine in all the combines. The Medion does not have APS, it comes with any size claas front you want and what ever options you need, eg 3D sieves, chopper, chaff spreader, Rear Wheal drive, auto contour is standard on the Mega and Medion. The same fronts and options are avalable with the Mega The price differance between the Mega and Medion is very little, i think the Mega is better value for money. Saskseedgrower where are you locatedIJ

I think the Mega series would sell good in Canada with a good dealer network. The Massey 8460 was a good machine, and with the APS cylinder it would of had great capacity. Breaking into the North American market must be very tough. Both New Holland and Claas make very good combines, but have a hard time getting market share here. I hope Claas listens more carefully to North American farmers and dealers. If they do I think the lexion and the Mega have a place here.

Northern, I dont think ClAAS would sell the Mega or Medion series combines in the North American markets, because they would be cutting there own throats in numbers of lexion combine sales. If the Mega series (204 and 208's) are setup correctly they will keep up with the 450 and 460 lexions, at about Aust $40,000 to $70,000 list price less so most people would buy the Mega combine. There is a bit of talk that landpower (the claas machinery importers for Australia and New Zealand) may get the rights to sell the lexion range in claas colours, they already sell the lexion range in claas colours in New Zealnd. One can only hope that someone in claas Germany or atleast in Omaha reads these combine pages and the posts on this page and takes notice of peoples comments and problems. It is no good them sticking there head in the sand and hoping things go away, all that will do is, the problem may go away in the form of the machine being traded on an other colour and that owner will be lost for ever, as most of us know if someone has a bad run it takes less time for everyone to know about it than if some one has a good run. Just my 2 cents worth.

SaskSeedGrower, you carn't add APS to existing machines. As for as i know Claas are not going to sell the Mega or Medion range in North America as they will compete against the lexion sales, and as i read they are having enough trouble selling that model. May i have your email addressIJ My email is:claasman68@hotmail.com
