I would recommend the hydraulic driven spreader and also a chaff spreader. They usually spread chaff just fine with the air blast, but in really heavy chaff conditions I think a hydraulic spread would do better.

Ditto. In good soybeans, ie lots of trash, the hydraulic spreader will give you a more uniform job. And the hydraulic straw spreader will spin faster and spread farther than either the single or dual mechanical spreaders. Are there still options for the 7" diameter feeder drumsIJ They give more feeder capacity in beans unless you're going to do the block mods anyway. I'd get tailings return to cylinder option if I was ordering a machine to have for some time, and the 2.8 bps 14" swivel unloader.

Harvestor, do you know of any companies that build the hydraulic spreaders for the R's

Chaff spreadersIJ AGCO's can be fitted to earlier R models I know, and it works well. Other than that, one generally sees very few Vittetoe or Crary chaff spreaders on Gleaners, but they may make kits to install.

The engine door electric opener is nice. I like running duals I don't know if you had that on your list. How about a yield monitor, the new color touch screen is nice. Kurt
