I've heard that there will be a MX305 w_9l engine, the others will get bumped 5 to 10 hp. as will the STX 275. The next two STX,s 435 and 485 hp will have the IVECO engine, the larger 2 will retain the Cummins engine @ 485 and 530 hp.The MX's will have some minor frame changes to allow for taller tires. They've done a good job of keeping a lid on rumor info.

I have seen 2 STX 430's on trucks. The exhaust and air cleaner are on the left side.

The look and smell of shiny new machinery is as irresistable as candy. We would all be rich if it wasnt for new machinery and a lot healthier without the candy. Ever thought about buying gold. Its shiny too and goes up in value almost every day. Happy New Year to all.

If you want to see pictures of the new MX310 go to www.Planet-Tractor.com They introduced them in europe already. From the pictures looks like it still has a cummins engine.

Yes, the 9l is the Cummins motor similar to what the MX 285 has in it. However, the CAPS pump is gone and it is a common rail fuel system like the '06 production 2388_77 combines have in them. All the Magnum engines are electronic now because of Tier 3 EPA. There are quite a few other features changed on the new Magnums. larger radiators mean a little taller hood and the cab sits 4" higher than before. The hood is now one piece-no swing out door to access the air cleaner. Numerous other items changed also.

The 9l, as I understand is a punched out 8.3l, same engine used in the STX 325.

In my earlier post, it should have said the Iveco engine to be used in the models replacing the 375 and 425 STX. like now 385 and 430 STX'sIJ Would that be why the exhaust and air intake are on the left sideIJ
