You've probably read the post on the Gleaner board listed as "class 8 - silver tech 20:51:51 10_13_05 (0) " where there were some tidbits about the sheet metal and more unofficial info. I wonder if the MF rotary shown on the pics from Germany at this site (if it works now) www.modell-trecker.de_trecker_vorbilder_03_manny_050827_f_b_050827.htm is a prototype of the new MF class 8 without new sheet metal. It has the same type unloading auger talked about on the Gleaner post.

The combine looks like the Challenger 670 combine in Massey colors. Does have a fold back big diameter unloading auger that folds back exposing the inside auger flighting to someone looking from the left side. Otherwise looks like pretty much like the present combine. Does have a much more extended grain bin extension with plastic covering I think. Don't know if it is a bigger prototype or not. There was a pic on this site also. It might not work either. www.xtrac.de_index.phpIJtopic=154.0

Saw that picture, tank extensions look bigger alright and that augur fold looks different, looks like tying to do a hybrid between swivel and turret styles, hope it works well. Just my opinion but I hope they find a way to center the hopper extensions with the machine, I know it makes no difference in operation or capacity but I think the cuurent models have a bit of a lopsided appearance compared to everyone else.
