First get the new cylinder, no number yet order via description, RWA if you need it, it gives you a two speed on the go shift by the way, probably lat tilt, front and rear 7" drum, high wire sep grate ez close rock door, hump kit field installed 71371019, hyd spreader, and your choice of fieldstar, tires and radio. This is for starters.

Tbran we just got our new combine into the dealers from the factory a couple weeks ago and wondered if this 2 speed shift on the go RWA would be on this machine also or if that has been something just added, also wondered if you had any more information on the new rotor and if you heard any rumors as to a new flexhead in the works for maybe next year, thanks for anything you can tell me, much appreciated Tbran.

I think the two speed shift on the go referred to is when you change the oil flow by taking the machine in and out of RWA. When you take it out of four wheel drive its like picking up another gear when driving back to dump your bin for example. Works that way for us on our R52 RWA.

as southpaw said the RWA is on_off and gives the two speed effect, sorry about misleading anyone, the new cyinders just arrived at Hesston I heard, and no the new flex is two years away unless I miss my guess.

No one mentioned the draper header. Is it a good piece of machinery or are there some problems with that headIJ

I'm with you Tim. Do you know if the new rotor will be available in 24 and or 25". Maybe a 24" convertable to 25". Maybe someone reading this has run a proto in milo. Hopefully green milo. If not able to get the new rotor I would get the reverse bars off the standard rotor and have some rotor sweeps ready to put on or installed. Just snug up the adjustable high wide wire seperator grate if you should be experiencing any rotor loss. Don't know if a guy wants the chopper and tailings return to cylinder for milo but wouldn't be without them in our area and crops.

I wouldnt shift that RWD switch on the go at high idle, especially with a loaded bin, the change in pressure can blow your rwd motors seals. Stop then hit the switch and go, believe me its from experience.

I agree. Under load, (on a red machine) you will find that the hoses all jump when you hit the switch. One look at that and it makes a lot of sense to only switch into 4WD when the machine is stopped.
