Try this for some info- case in the UK. Did not have any pics. The NH site does, or you can look at the prototypes on this website has exc pics. http:__www.casecorp.com_europe_uk_agricultural_whats_new_index.html
The link is to the CF range of conventional combines introduced into Europe a couple of years ago. Based on the Forschritt or bonhill range that Case Aquired a few years ago. I expect the new CS range to be a whole lot better than the CF!! DGJ (UK)
The merger certainly raises some eyebrows. I see a lot of Case dealers are now taking on NH and vice versa. Is this the beginning of the CNH branded product lineIJ Personally, I think Case should have merged with NH years ago,it would have been an ideal combination. Unfortunately, they picked up that red crap and then adopted the color. This is pure blasphomey! However, it seems that when Case would buy a company, they would adopt their colors e.g. David Brown white.
hey JI Case Man, Case couldn't come up with anything good on their own so they whipped out the checkbook and bought every great idea that IH ever put on the market like the air planter,Axial Flow combine, all the tillage line, grinders, blades, loaders and many others. Case was lucky to have their name on these IH inventions!
Without coercion, IH agreed wholely and completely to sell certain aspects of their ag operations to J.I. Case Company, all voluntarily in the open market place. IH was lucky to have Case to buy it and avoid forclosure on all of their assets including what I consider a superb truck line. Allis Chalmers customers were less lucky being absorbed by an incompetent Deutz Corporation which could have been IH. Irregardless, in a less than a year, nothing will be left of the former IH designs as the combine adopts the NH chassis, following tillage to DMI, hay to NH and the planter mocking a White design and so forth.
Good point Scooter. That is the case in Central N.Y and in Middlebury,Vermont. In Middlebury the NH dealer bought up the Case dealer. In Ohio Apple Farm Service a NH dealer just took on case.
