Cheapest urea I have seen under here is $350aust_tonne,Muriate of potash $381aus_tn. Can you clarify the 10-50 and 18-46 IJ We tend to use compounded fertilisers down under of fixed ratio,s N,P,K,S. Quite interesting reading the replies,looks like things are the same up there as down here

Hello, the first number is the N amt. and the second is the phosphurus on both of those blends they are both very common blends for starter fertilizer.Can you please clarify aust_tonne for me IJAre those canadian $ if so then your prices are about the same as here. It sure is a lot more fun to talk combining than seeding but I guess that you can't have one without the other. JOHN

Gotcha aust_tn = Aussie Dollar ,I think is about 56 cents us.last time I checked not sure on Canadian exch.But Can dollar and ours were fairly close till ours did a belly flop Bit like the chicken and the egg,which comes 1st . Dry Blending is done under here, But majority would be compounds of fixed ratio,s. Price of inputs is getting to be a bit scary.Especially after a poor season.Robbie
