What a bad deal to get into. There isnt a whole lot you can do about it either. Walking through them and hand picking is about the best solution to your problem. I harvest around 800-1000 acres of pintos a year and I grit my teeth when I see that darned ole night shade bad news. It doesnt matter what kind of machine you run they will get you if there is enough in the field especially when there is quite a bit of dirt. I took out my vertical auger and my bubble up auger both last year in nightshade. I did find one thing when it freezes early it does take out some off the zip in those little troublesome berries..
