Combines none

I don't know alot about the cat combine, but i think the 9860sts is kind of a bandaid class 8 combine. The seperator and cleaning system are the same size as 9660sts, but with more horsepower and bigger drive sheaves and belts to handle the power. But over the history of jd combines a change of model number in the last 2 digits usually is just a rifinement of the previous model, and in 2 years a whole new model will be out, usually. On the other hand i have talked to a guy with a 9860sts and a 635F and he can't keep it full in 40 to 50 bushel soybeans anyway.

You forgot the guy who says that you should have bought a John Deere light Bulb and then you would not have had to change it in the first place!!!!!

The JD 9880 STS was introduced in Europe during the Spring of 2002,I'm not sure but I think the 96_9750 STS's where available in Europe in limited numbers from Summer 2000 before going "full bore" in 2001.Although from what I know the STS series combines have had limited success in European heavy crops.
