Thought about ebay, but I don't have any way to list them. Would like a more sure fire way to get my piddly amount of money out of them. The smithsonian....Hmmmm....I suppose they'd look pretty nice setting behind that 1086 or 1586 setting in there - can't remember which it is. nice looking machine though. Suppose they got some baler twine, could tie a short rope on the plows and then tie off on the WC they have too. if memory serves correctly again i believe there's a WC

Where is the plowIJ The jockeys in this area still sell a lot of plows. Stitzel in Hamburg PA, Wengers in Myerstown, PA, Keiters in Halifax, PA, Gunther Heussmann in Emmaus, PA are always looking for good White plows, especially auto-resets. All of these jockeys have trucks hauling machinery from the midwest on a regular basis. If interested, send me an email, I'll get you some phone numbers.

I have 3 plows sitting down at the creek. I havn't used them in decades. The creek is starting to silt in and has decreased in size over the past 25 years. Grass, trees and other vegetation is growing on the once slick, and bare banks. Its neat to take friends and relitives down there and show them how the creek is diminishing in size because those plows are no longer in use.

The Farmall in the Smithsonian is a 1486, was driven there (to Washington D.C. from Texas) by a farmer going to a demonstration, mother took some photos of it for me on her vacation. I forget how many miles he drove it but it was a bunch. I wish my 986 looked that good!
