Must be something wrong with the 2388. We ran a 2366 for 3 yrs, 1st year with a 1063 then 2 yrs with a 1083. Really didn't see much difference in how it handled either head. Traded the 66 for a 2388. First year was like you, wasn't that impressed, just didn't seem to have the power. Dealer tried several things to no avail. They finally replaced a diaphram, sorry can't remember where, and it was a whole different machine. This year we had an AFX rotor put in it, mainly for green stemmed beans. Again, big difference between the AFX and Specialty rotor. I figure we increased our bean cutting capacity by 25%. In corn we run 5.5-6mph in 200+bpa corn, even while unloading on the go. Usually 5mph was pushing it with the Specialty rotor.
