Snap-On sells the good ones. twelve0six is close. Some of them are a couple grand though. You can buy cheap ones but whether they work is another story. Depends on if you want to do imports or not. "Ask your local Sanp-On man"

I bought one a year ago. Things to check cables to see that they are not froze up. Also the transmission that it shifts good. Mine will tend to jump out of 3rd going downhill. Also the brakes aren't much, but not hard to replace. They are kind of crude machines, but easy to work on and they'll run forever on a tank of gas.

Wish I knew you were in the "neighborhood", would have liked to meet you and talk to you. A lot of Gleaner owners around here trade at Haney's. They are one of the "old" dealers that are left. They have the part, its laying around here somewhere! Don't know which way you came but I live at Pulaski just off I-65. Which Illinois town are you fromIJ

I looked at the Atlas and found Willow Hill. I bought a tractor at Newton Tractor in Newton, Il about 4 years ago and then went back to pick it up. VERY NICE people!! Then about 2 years ago I came back through there on the way to Havana, Il to look at a planter. You should go to Talledega when a Cup race is there. Did you tour the track and museumIJ Sorry for the off topic post but, 2 things that I like in life are farming and motor sports and don't have enough money to do either!!
