You say you are familiar with Atom Jet kits so I wont bore you with how they work. For information only anyone I know who has had one seemed quite happy with the performance.
I think you are stuck with maybe adding a belt driven hydraulic pump on the front of the engine if you can find a pulley and the space. NorthernTool and others have hyd. pumps with an electric clutch like an A_C compressor available. Or find a little diesel engine to run the air seeder fan.
