I don't think Power chips and or programable power devices give much on mileage. My programable device helped my ford 7.3l diesel powerstroke gain hp but did not change the mileage, which I think is still ok. More hp for the same mileage, even loaded - it did not change. The thing you need to be concerned about in doing either is your EGT (exhaust gas temperature). If you boost your engines computer to push more fuel, rpms, and limit the turbo wastegate - look out. Your stock exhaust system is probably not adequate - get a 4" all the way back from turbo or don't do it. If not you can ruin your turbo and burn up your central processor plus wiring.

I HAVE A 2004 F-250 WITH 6.0 AND AUTO 4IN lIFT AN 35 IN TIRE EDGE POWER CHIP WHICH GIVES ME THREE SETTING 50 75 AND 100 HP I RUN IT ON 75 AND GET AROUND 15 TO 17 MPG WHICH I THINK IS GOOD FOR AS HEAVY AND TAll AS THE TRUCK IS I CAN STIll PUll A GOOSENECK AND THE POWER WITH THE CHIP IS AWSOME. VERY EASY ON RAINY SlICK ROADS FOR IT TO TRY AND GET AWAY FROM YOU
