I wish I had that kind of luck, my chevy diesel started to run rough...phoned my mechanic to see what he thought the problem was...sounded like a dead hole, missing...he figured it was a bad injector...asked if i could keep driving it to get it home...sure no problem.....ahhhhhhhgg, she died, seized up, water in the oil...and this right after putting a new tranny and front end into her just before Xmas...guess I'll put a gasser in her and user it on the farm...what a waste of cash...maybe it doesn't pay to fix them up.

Sounds strange to hear talk of planting wheat when we have had three weeks of -30 to -35 C at nights around here, oh well I'm not ready anyway good luck with planting. I have one question though you have mentioned that a neighbor runs gleaners and obviously you masseys just wonder how you would compare the two as it seems gleaner may be moving towards your design on the bigger machines anyway.

We over haul the machines in my shop I have gotten to know my way around a Gleaner and he knows what a Massey is all about.I think they are two of the best combines on the market today. The rotor In the Gleaner comes out in less time than the Massey. The Massey is simple and easy as far as the rest of the machine. In the field the Gleaners can harvest hills without leveling and is a big advantage. But after taking to my friend he said thats fine except runing on hills without leveling has its problems. You can't fill the grain tank full and you have trouble wearing out the side of the clean grain elevater. He thinks a Massey with leveling is a pretty good way to go.I think if your ground is farly flat I think the Massey will do a good job and do it a little cheaper because of less parts.
