Marc, A simple way to check and make sure that it is the sender is to ground the wire that goes to the oil pressure sender for the light. This sender should be located on rear of the engine towards the fuel tank.Usually both the gauge and the light sender are sensing off of the same port in oil galley. The sender will have a white wire with a brown tracer on it. Remove this wire and attach it to ground somewhere and see if light stays out.(If it does then you need new sender,if light is still flickering after sender wire is grounded then you have problem in the harness somewher.) Usually you will find that sender is the culprit. Good luck, Hyper Harvest II
