Nope, though you would like some of the features of the 1600 series. However, you like the price of the 1480 much better and if they have been maintained and are not worn through everywhere, you will like it. I have a friend that is finally moving up to a 92 1680 after putting on nearly 7000 hours on a 1480. I can not say that he worked on his more that my 91 1680 and he combines 2000 acres to the 900 to 1000 I combine. Also, since moving from a 1440 to a 1660 and now a 1680, I've notice the 80 series machine just does everything better. I'm not sure if the rotor size is better for threshing or the increased cleaning area allows me to be less agressive with the concaves, but it just works better that the smaller rotor machines. It's also easier to replace parts like the rotor belt and others since there is more room. my 2 cents, Pat
