I agree about the cost-benefit analysis being important since it simplifies complex business decisions. An accurate analysis can be useful for decision-making. In the long run, the process of buying a used machine is tedious.There is also the cost/benefit aspect. Are you literally going to get your money's worth? The mechanical aspect is important, no doubt, but if you're going to operate in the red because of what you paid for it then it won't matter how mechanically sound it is.
