I also hate the fact that the perception is AGCO is trying to kill off 'Gleaner'. Just the OPPOSITE is true. There have been unfortunate 'leaks' of BAD information that has gotten out and caused a 'panick'. Take this to the bank; as long as Gleaner dealers order the R65-75 they will be available on the natural flow series no matter what is on the decal as a model. When the time comes to make a model change, as All companies do, it will change and product will change for the better. We should hope it does. IF not we would still be selling Gleaners mounted on Fordsons. Gleaner dealers will eventually have the opportunity to sell the axial flow MF machines as well. The thoery backing up the fact is some farmers will not have a Gleaner due to prejudice or what ever the reason. The ability to go after those customers with a machine like some competitors are losing , you know the one, will give the ability to strengthen the Gleaner dealers. Guys it takes big bucks to stay in the implement business. Every year brings more regulations, inflation, and expenses than the year before. When farmers do well we do well. When not, well as one well known fellow said 'We feel your pain'........

I agree with you Tbran,But you are not the bottom feeder like we farmers are.You can push the expense on to the consumer, which I understand you have no other choice,But we farmers have no where to push it,You say what you want for parts, they say what they want for all the other inputs, and they tell us what they will give us,for our grain.I am not being a smartaXX,but let me ask you this. If you wouldnt had anywhere to push the higher freight prices and the increases of the parts due to higher steel prices in the last 18 months, you just had to eat those increases and sell your parts for what you were, where would you be right now as an implement dealerIJIJIJ Now that is our pain,so you feel it BUT not like the bottom feeder. you are correct, dear bottom feeder. Our problem is at a certain threshhold price you guys stop buying parts or machinery or service or at least drastically cut your purchases. This in effect cuts my yield from 200 bushels of parts per month to 100 or lower. Raising the price just reduces my sales(yield). So I order less, sell less thus the same result. I am forced to go out and 'rent' more ground competing with fellow dealers which drives up overhead and reduces margins. It just ain't enough of you bottom feeders left in the pond to make it fun (profitable)fishing any more. It is a job now. I jokingly talked with my local car dealer who was complaining and I told him "look, every day the drivers license office is open you get new prospects, everyday the funeral home is open I loose customers". You bottom feeders need to spawn a little better...

Just got out of a big Gleaner meeting yesterday. Tbran is right that Natural flow will not go away unless the orders do. Ball is now rolling on some very exciting improvements around the corner. With these improvements the orders will not stop coming for a long long time. Gleaners line is only increasing with addition of axial design which is what got major share of RandD of late.
