I know what you are talking about and it will drive you crazy. The bushing on the release bearing in the clutch is the problem.I will bet this is a pto tractor witch seem to give more trouble in that area.The right fix is a new bushing, and you take the transmission out to do it.The easy TEMPORARY fix is a bungy cord from the eye on the left side of the transmission forword to the clutch linkage.The first thing you shoud do is ajust the clutch so the transmission brake is almost at the floor with one inch of free pedal.You can call me at 1 509 525 6827 there are a few other things that might help. good luck Steve
