I just traded my 2144 in for a 2366. I had 2977 hrs on it and was given 47,000 on the trade. It is a very good machine in my opinion. I never had to do any work on the hydro or transmission. I did have to replace the spline and coupler on the hydro pump because of spline wear but we installed a grease zerk in the hub and greased that every other day. The older cnh machines used to need hydro work by about 2500 hrs or so but i think the filters on this machine are much better and if the fluids have been changed you should be ok... just my thoughts. Besides a bit less power than the 2166, the machines are pretty much the same.. good luck!
