Tom, I know what you mean about people trying to rent ground but does that mean there making lots of money ,or trying rent ground because the profit is so low per acre that you have to farm more acresIJ In my area we average 40 bu beans and 120 bu corn, ground rents for 100 to 150 per acre. How much profit is there with these pricesIJ last year my beans avg. 28 bu and corn in the 90 bu. range. But this year we had 45 and 165 so does this year make up for last yearIJ I get, counting no fuel labor or mach. around 125 an acre in corn, that is seed,chemicals,fert.,nit.
