Combines Outside adjustment of shoe and chaffer sieve on 1660

Are you talking about the one listed belowIJ We were looking at doing the same and wanted to talk to someone about the installation and operation.

Just got a brand new one at an auction. I have a 1680 with a short sieve. I installed it on my shoe sieve and love it. Was concerned that since my sieve adjustment is so hard from its handle that the external adjuster wouldn't work that well. Just the opposite. External adjuster is smoother and easier, especially while the separator is running at an idle.

The kit is like the kit that Case sells but say it will only fit long cleaning sieve machines. I did not know if anyone had tried to install one of tee kits in a short sieve machine. dougf
