Can you be more specificIJ What machine are you running, etcIJ Sometimes shoe loss is caused by runnning bottom sieve to tight and running too much return. You could probably tighten up the concave (rotor, I assume) to seperate milo quicker.

I'm running an 81 l2 with the long shoe. I solved the problem by putting in an air foil chaffer. Got more air on the green stuff and kept grain in the combine.
