It is just a guide to something hitting pad. You will have to pull spreader from time to time if you suspect loss. Some crops will be more sensative than others. If MOG is grinding up bad you will have more hitting pad giving false signal. Some degree of hyperizing reduces material coming threw cage in many crops which can make monitor more accurate. Some have debated at moving sensor toward discharge or away from cage to make it more accurate in there situation. One should tap on sensor when module it set to cylinder and or shoe to see it is wired right. Some had wires turned around so shoe and cylinder operated backwards. If you are going to watch just cylinder or just shoe they need to be calibrated separatly. You could not settings for particular setting or crop so you have a guide for later. Good luck
